Question about Valheim map generator
We all (or almost all) know about unofficial Valheim map generator. Every description I found about it any article says something like, you can generate your world seed before you start the play to exclude randomness and save your time. That sort of thing. But I don't really understand it.
For me, all it does is creates random map seed (if you click on random) or if you already KNOW the seed name, you can paste it in and it shows you the map for that seed.
Description makes it like you choose what kind of map to generate with some tools and then it generates it for you, but that's either not the case, or I'm not understanding how this works.
So, what do you think about it?

It shows you the map for A Seed. Put seed in, see map of seed. Ask it for random seed, it generates random seed, then shows you the map for that seed.
It does that very well. It does exactly what it says on the tin, no more, no less.
There's no such thing as 'what kind of map to generate' or anything like that; all of the options are just filters / things to show on the map.
Map generator = shows where everything is on any given seed
It's not making the maps up or anything like that, all it's doing is taking the code you give it (or generating a random one) and showing you what that map looks like, so that you know where the trader is, where the bosses are, where the dungeons are, what biome is where, what the continents look like, that sort of thing.

Yes, that's exactly what I thought. Just wanted the confirmation. It shows you the map for A Seed. Put seed in, see map of seed. Ask it for random seed, it generates random seed, then shows you the map for that seed.

Just some articles online had put it like you give it some parameters and it generates the seed according to them, or it was just me misunderstanding very much.
Was just afraid I was missing something, so thank you very much for the answer.
