Oh I wasn't aware that the biome already existed. Looks to me like they have already prepared for adding a new biome?

I only saw black empty land with dark sky, with no trees or webs or anything. So it was much of a bland place to go till updated or at least a old save that someone backed up which would probably show that. I guess I was late to see it what really was.

Yeah, they did a recent update that wiped out the trees and webs. For now there is only dark, flat lands.

The silk spiders/trees should be added to the forest region and or caves inside swap/mistlands. either way the spider look and feel probably wont carry to the final mistlands update.

More than likely a new world will be at least recommended. To be expected with Early Access and the game being in active development.

(Mistlands exists in current worlds, far away from world spawns.)

I already discovered Mistland ages ago and we dont need to start a new save from what I read unless you have actually built there.
Its far away from my main base so.

Deep North and Ashlands also already exist, even though they have no content yet.

Plains exists there as well its next to black forest and the Mistlands I actuall finally tamed a Lox at the plains there so had to build a portal :D
I could post a snap of the map where I found it.
