Wow, a lot of hostility towards a guy who's not in to the graphics and just asking a question... It's not for everyone, nothing wrong with that, those of us who like it get to keep on liking it.

The graphics on this game are an intentional, artistic (and functional) choice.

The low poly count keeps the download small and increases performance, and the way they did it, is also quite beautiful.

If you can only play games that have movie-quality graphics, then this one isnt for you.

The point of this game IS the graphics, changing that will influence the style. Try to play games for fun, not just graphics, saves you a lot of hassle.

Actually visuals is the reason, why I bought this game. Never seen so perfect graphic in modern game.

the whole thing about this game is that the gameplay has a lot of depth for something that looks pretty underwhelming on the surface....... the water looks good tho

You may want to give this one a pass, the graphics aren't going to change. They're actually fairly impressive, they've managed to create some striking visuals for a lower poly count game, but if you need hi resolution then it's not a game for you.

Well I'm sure they'll get right on recoding the game into a new graphics engine to get that one extra sale ...

They basically just smothered it in post processing effects. I have the ones turned off that are available as options in settings. They distract and detract from the game in my opinion.

I've got all graphic sliders maxed and all boxes ticked except DoF, I play @5120x1440 and the game runs smooth and looks good, you are playing it maxed yes?.

Why? It's one of the main reasons why people actually love this game. If your little head can't handle "bad graphics" go find another game then.

i think the graphics are awesome but there are texture packs on valheim nexus if you prefer.

Seriously you've got to be joking.... For a EA survival game i genuinely think Valheim graphics aren't that bad, this is probably one of the best games released in 2021 (I haven't checked as i couldn't care less about graphics or sales), your loss if you don't buy it, no skin off IG's nose
