I use a PS4 controller and don't have any complaints really. I used to have an issue if my controller wasn't plugged in when I started the game, character would spin constantly but that was fixed awhile back. I just want to remap some of the functions, but otherwise no issues. I do occasionally have issues with Steam where I have to reset settings.

I had some issues when I tried configuring my controller to be more similar between games. I struggled for quite a while trying to get Valheim working properly again. I believe the fix that finally did it was turning off Xbox Configuration Support in the Controller Settings page (bullet 3 in this page: https://wiki.albany.edu/display/icehcspace/%5BSteam%5D+How+to+set+up+a+controller+for+any+PC+game)

I also deleted the controller settings directory in my local steam configuration (somewhere under AppData), but it wasn't completely fixed until I turned off the setting mentioned above.

No clue why you have those issues. I use my Xbox controller since day one, and after hundred hours never had a single hiccup

im clearly disabled and cannot figure it out. my s**t is broken

legit ive spent all morning trying to be able to jump in game. space bar wont even jump and clearly i am using it just fine now lol
so i uninstalled maybe their next update will fix my issues.
