Mistlands compatibility with the older worlds?
So I've started playing two weeks ago maybe, spent ~200 hrs and completed the game in it's current state and i really love my world and what i have built and achieved in it. When the Mistlands is released, will i have to create a new world for the ML content to appear?

That's some good news out there, thanks a lot. Another question: is the guy above, Cap'n Bells right? Should i leave some unexplored areas for the Mistlands content to appear when it's released or i can explore my map all the way down?So I've started playing two weeks ago maybe, spent ~200 hrs and completed the game in it's current state and i really love my world and what i have built and achieved in it. Mistlands is fully compatible will older worlds.
You will not have to make a new one =)
I've already found some places on the map that were marked as Mistlands, but they were empty and really small. Is it the place where the true ML will be?
P.s. sry for being so annoying lol

Don't worry, though I will try to explain what they meant.
Usually when an update such as H&H or the future Mistlands happens, what they do to the existing worlds is that the updates happens to them, but only to the areas that you have yet to find or explore that is, they are still completely covered by fog on the map with no features known.
Basically, if you have explored it, then it'll stay as it were with no changes made by the update. However, if after update installation you find a completely new area, then this new area will have all the benefits of the update, such as resources, mobs, and so on.
So, should you choose to explore the entire map before the update arrives, then you'll just have to either restart the map seed on a new world or start an entirely new one. So it's up to you and your preferences on that one, really.
I hope that this has helped you out some.
Just as i thought, thanks! By the way, is there any info of approximate release date of ML? Is it likely weeks or months?

Mistlands is currently slated to come out on the experimental Public Test Branch (PTB) sometime this year. It's a great opportunity to start a new world, just mess around in it, and help the devs find bugs or improve game balance.
Release on the main branch depends on how much bug fixing & balancing needs to be done. In the worst case this can apparently reach into early 2023, if I understood correctly.

If H&H is the way they do it then... if you can "see" a complete area on your map (no fog of war) then nothing new turns up.. i had not explored any mountains except the edge of biome just showing on map.. after H&H dropped i later explored mountains and discovered Eggs and Moder Altar in areas i had edge mapped. but not earlier explored... so whereever mistlands will be on your map is a place you havent seen on map. So maybe dont go all Dora the Explorer to soon :-)
