Mistwalker sword will clear mist.

The Wisplight accessory will clear the mist.

Wisp torches will clear the mist.

I think that is all of it as far as I know.

wisp torches also dont require a working bench. just yggdrasil wood and whisps. take a stack of each with you and place them all around. enemies will attack it thou. so place it up high.

Thanks, good to know, a reason to farm wisps now.

i did airfield-like lighting. so when i jump of my tower in the mountains, straight into the mistlands i know wich way to fly. 1 path leads to some roots. another to my dvergr friends.
and sometimes i simply jump into battle like batman with wolverine claws. just like the devs intented it, i guess.

Torches, and those don't get rid of the fog permanently either, if you leave the area and come back it has to "backpedal the fog" each time, so you'll always have fog there. Mods are probably your best bet at this point if you have issues with the fog, some of them entirely remove the fog.
