Yes, you can also daisy-chain trees in the real world, though it is much more dangerous than in a game. Trees can just drop straight back down on their stump if you cut them just right and they're straight enough or entangled with other tree limbs, then you have to get another chainsaw cause yours is now property of the tree...
My dad cut trees for 30 years, I've seen all of these scenarios myself as well. When a tree just drops onto its stump and doesn't fall down, you have to leave and wait for the wind to push the top in a direction or brave it and cut it down again... or the other trees that are holding it up and make sure you have an exit strategy.

Trees are Val's #1 low-key under-rated, low-key mob. Then fires, and drowning. I've heard that a 2-Star Oak can one-shot any toon. Undefeated, it just decapitates you.

when you chop down a tree irl you dont go all the way through and it just pops off. it snaps off as it falls, in the vid it gets caught on another tree just like it does in game! HA!

well, depends if they get hung up or not. If one axes far enough and the tree doesnt get hung up, it should snap off at the end of the fall. Of course, I am not as familiar with axe tree felling as I am with using a chainsaw.
