Mistlands explored.
I went to areas that I explored before the new update. Now going back to those areas, I have not found 1 tree and half the time mist is not thick. Plenty of rabbits and bugs around. Some of the mountains are very steep in mistlands. Do I need to start a seed? One seed need to kill furling boss and another seed need dragon boss and furling boss. I found 1 npc that died to 2 star seeker and no star seeker. Both seeds I have not found any trees or mines. Npc drop dark marble but 1 thing of it.

Whatever area you explored won’t be modified to the terrain and content. So I would load your character up with all your goodies and start a new world. It’s entirely up to you obviously.

Yeah old worlds aren't updated with what mistlands are supposed to be. You'll need to start another world in order for it to load properly.

Yeah old worlds aren't updated with what mistlands are supposed to be. You'll need to start another world in order for it to load properly....or use the "upgrade world mod"
