Im thinking and coming to the conclusion that something that feels hot even from a distance, that is causing things to steam or smoke and consumes wood (or gas) isn't supposed ti be touched.

And when you sail you should have your map checked. Then do what you suggested and think.

High risk exploring to discover new lands, creatures and events is actually great fun. But the key to avoid frustration is to do it deliberately and exclusively, meaning avoid mixing it with other tasks like resource collection, and carry disposable equipment and just enough for a portal.

Well, on the positive side, you found out what's at the end of the world, so consider it a personal achievement.

Well, you did something dumb, you came to the forums to gripe about it blaming the game, what exactly was your reason for doing so? You say to warn others but we know thats a lie, you didnt try a search on the forums or you would have found one of the many other players doing the same dumb thing. So you already know no one is going to look up what happens before sailing OFF THE END OFF THE WORLD !!

So what are you expecting from the forums reactions? Its all been done before, any well thinking individual would have thought "Maybe lets not do this in full gear.." or atleast "lets do a search see what happens if you try.." to atleast leaving your best gear behind but you said you were fooling around with friends, did you guys have fun? Did you laugh your ass off when the boat went over? I bet you did, so why are you here?

That sucks bro. I empathize with your situation. Seems a bizarre design decision that every other death in the game leaves your inventory retrievable except for falling off the edge of the map.
I think the idea of this game being based on a flat planet is pretty cool and unique, but they should rework it somehow so that your items are at least retrievable if you decide to make that journey.
Feels too punishing for what is otherwise a pretty fun and surprising death... especially considering the effort undertaken to explore to that extent.

That's pretty cool. Wish I tried that. I did plenty of "high risk of dying" things in Valheim but never that. Although might have been better to try exploring with disposable equipment and an empty boat. But thanks for letting us know the earth really is flat in Valheim.

we did not see water falling we just saw huge wawes and suddenly we falled down

1 we were having fun and we thoght that there was invisible wall and just tryed to say it here so someone else wouldnt be as stupid as me and my friends

That's your problem right there, "work". Playing games isn't work, it's supposed to be the excitement of win or lose. Rage quitting I can understand, a lot of players can understand that. But the way you describe it, leaves the impression of a sore loser story.
