what loading screens do you get up to... and did you get to select vulcan option

The first time you start a new world, it takes a good long while to generate; several minutes, depending on your hardware. If you think it has stalled on the black screen that says "Loading..." in the bottom right corner... just give it a few minutes. Go make a cup of tea, or something, and let it do its thing.
