Random ship in the middle of the ocean..?

Me and my friend were sailing, until we hit a random boat, it had sticks attached to it and it was on a small piece of land, surrounding it..

This is why you must always do a troll check before landing in the black forest.

Wrecks do appear in the black forest, You got lucky to actually find one near enough water to seem plausible. They have fine wood if you break them down.

Might have been a small spot of Dark Forest with a ship wreak on it. I've seen something similar once, a sand bar pretty much on it's own in the middle of open water with a couple of ship wreaks on it.

Hit them with my axe and got a useful amount of fine wood from them. There was also a treasure chest a little under the sand that my pick axe made accessable.

Travis did it!
He must be using devcommands (and possibly some mods to make it). There is even workbench below. You can tell by the ground below that it is not automatically generated but human made. Dont be surprised if you run into other "unusual" things.
Btw, is that dedicated server you play on or you connect to his local world?

Someone else was saying they use the server devcommands mod to fly off ahead when their multiplayer group isn't looking and spawn weird stuff for them to find. Seems like a good use of troll energy tbh :D

Ship wreck. Awesome find early game because you get a decent amount of fine wood with a stone ax.

I already said, this ship didn't break, it didn't collide with axes.

it may be the remains of a ship half buried in a small area of land

Found out, I was messing with dev commands by myself and i spawned in "Ship_construction" and it did the same thing. (I did not use devcommands to spawn in the ship).
