Game's in early access and if you don't know what that means then you shouldn't be buying EA games.

More information would be needed also, since none of the PC's I've tested on have had an issue. It's not generally a widespread issue either.

So maybe if you give the developer the information they need to replicate and find the issue, they could fix it. Otherwise you're basically taking your car into the shop and saying "it goes too fast, fix it".

OP how old is your system?

ow ive been tere done that dont start with me and just opt that beauty of a game. my rigs are fine:D th for sharing and your times tho. But fyi I run variable refresh rates, trying 100-120 and 165 fps, within control panel, enabling Gsync and Vsync, works wonders i tell you, as long as you 5fps soft cap below your chosen monitors refresh rate. 165 fps monitor, in game soft cap frames to 159, but Gsync and Vsync on in nvidia control panel, totally turned off in games tho. Its how I make my gsync shine and run so good. normaly! my cpu is ryzen 5 3600xt, gpu 1080 FTW hybrid.

Also about EA, teres too many forms of EA and abuse on us atm, me think. just my opinion. I think you guys doing good, game is awsome, mods are working and dont affect the game. Not like conan exile were mods broke the game 2 years in(30 to 50fps tops in modded conan servers, from my 140-165 fps none modded, and the screen is crying. But it is not the case for valheim and tere mods Great job, just got to fix the hole of a game or more optimization would be awsome seing our content is from mods atm. Very happy for that part at least. Let me explain my problem with valheim tho. Its 30minutes in to 1 hour, we seem to loose 30fps, permanently, wich I dont qualify as EA criteria and I cant accept that, my screen also feels the harm, basicly coming from my cpu, my gpu is real nice and locked at 2015 to 21150mhz (her OC mode) core clock at 46degrees in both modes to, FTW hybrid 1080 is no jk on pascal architexture.

I dont know what do you have for Problems with the CPU Usage. The CPU Usage is absolutly fine. My CPU , ( Ryzen 5 3600 ), is sleeping all the Time. The only one and big Problem is the GPU Usage and the Overheating in few Situations.

I have an old potato, and GPU is the bottleneck for me. The game itself only runs around 65% CPU.
I did have an issue with other unfocused apps capping CPU usage periodically and it was a very bad thing(tm) for Valheim. If your CPU is maxing out I have to ask what else is running in the background and have you tracked any of it to troubleshoot?

Don't over-terraform in early access title that was released less then 2 months ago?

Vsync just limits your fps to 60 in the worst way possible, giving tons of input lag in the process. If you wish to limit your fps you should use something like RTSS.
