Mistlands.... and bagpipe music...

Yes, there is a connection between the two. Every so often, when I hear something like the 3 Scots homecoming, or some group trooping the colors, and those bagpipes go off, I get all misty-eyed. Then the bagpipes fade away, and I avoid them like the plague for the next year. The mistlands affect me the same way. They get old in a real hurry, whether or not you have the cape.

Sure, some people like them. I respect that.... but.. yeah.... after you place a million torches, and then realize that they don't just remove the fog; they are light sources... with the FPS that goes with a million light sources... you start to get a bit jaded. I suspect most people just raid for materials, and then get the heck out. And the cape? Yeah... you know.... I've never seen that used in the Mystlands. It's always off of the top of a mountain, or sitting in a chair attached to a harpoon line, or parkouring your way around a base because your mates are all farming or fishing or collecting materials, and you're bored as a fish. Most of the time, if you picked the fastest way up, it also turns out to be the fastest way down. Except if you just jump into the water, which is the fastest, easiest thing to do.

The Mistlands are new.... and, IMHO, they are cool for about an hour.... unless you're 13, or you're playing with your dad and you're like a ten-year-old-girl who loves rabbits. But for everyone else... doesn't it feel more than a little bit like having to make a choice between Mistlands and bagpipe music? I think so.

I just learned how trigger happy the mods are lol. Surprised they let your post through for daring to critique the almighty label of moderator.

Ugh this type of argument. You know that when you decide something is good, that is also a judgment right? People use "you shouldn't judge" to take the high road when they really mean, "I don't like what you are saying but lack the wherewithal to deny it." He made a lenghty post and defended his positions... seems like he also gave mistlands a fair shake before coming here to post about it. Nothing hasty about it.

I however take issue with the stigma that only 10 year old girls can love rabbits... I fuggin love rabbits and was so happy to see them lol

I altered the OP after normal response posts were intercepted and deleted without comment. Yes, I got a warning for it, but shots were fired.

Well... they are delicious. I mentioned the rabbits because I have a mate whose daughter is actually nine... too young for Valheim, IMO, but it isn't up to me. They play together, as a sort of father/daughter time (which makes him a great dad, IMO), but she gets carried away when the rabbits start running around. She changes from sweet little girl to uncaring dictator. Her dad is forced to chase and try to "catch," but not "kill" the rabbits. The first time I found a bunch of those cheapy fences in the mislands, I wondered what the heck was going on. I remained in the dark until I happened to catch part of a chase, which basically forced her dad to confess.

Well, hares tend to live alone, or with a mate... but these live in groups... like rabbits... so I figure that programmers are not biologists, and they are rabbits.

I can relate, need more marble for my build, a 1 star soldier, a 2 star seeker, and the flying haggis are all guarding a bunch of my body bags, I am stupid and stubborn, but this game will not beat me!

It is one thing to voice your opinion about something, but a whole different thing when you downtalk those who like the things you dislike. You shouldn´t do that and respect that everyone has his own preferences.

Yes I hate Mistlands, I hate everything about the mistlands but I understand that others might like it and that doesn´t make them bad people. They just have different preferences and taste and that is totally fine.

Please stop writing this way, it makes you look like a bad person.
