I'm a returning player and have a short question about raids.

I remember that last time I played (maybe half a year ago), the types of raids you got at your base depended on whether or not you used the boss trophies to unlock new powers at the stone circle. You could deliberately not use your boss trophies and stay at easy base raids.

Now I keep reading that killing a boss nets you the next raid stage. It apparently no longer matters if you use the boss trophy.

Is that correct? If so, when was this changed?
