500 Bone Skeleton, the Lord of Bones

While Building a massive wall around future town, a normal looking skeleton started attacking my wall, no stars just normal skeleton with a stick.

It hit structures for over 100 damage, and almost killed me in a single hit (I have roughly 150 hp to start).

It had tons of health, on par with a 1 or 2 star troll, and upon death dropped about 514 bones and a single skull. I had to finish it with arrows by the way since it crushed through my blocks.

What... the heck... created this beast or what would cause it to spawn?

You can spawn creatures of 3 or more stars with just the console. They appear as base-level versions of the creature and have no stars on their health bar, but still have the stats and drop rates appropriate to the star-level they were spawned at.

The only thing that makes this fact not particularly likely in your case is that it would have to be on either a local single-player map or be done by a character that has been given administrative rights in the game's config file.

You can spawn in mobs with many stars and high HP that drop many loot. Apparently no limit so if you want a 20 star skelly it might drop 5000 bones and clog your CPU. No idea what caused a high drop mob to appear with no stars though.

First guess is always mod conflict. Second would be your serve admin spawned in a skelly with so many stars none appeared in the little graphic.

Are you using mods and or other things beyond default game play and settings?
