Why I'm asking is that in this particular swamp I cannot find the entrance to a dungeon.

So I thought this might be an entrance and I have to drain water.

But since this is only a small swamp, maybe there is not dungeon here.

no, it's not the entrance. Just a hole with draugr. You just got a swamp without crypts - it happens sometimes

Yes ok, so a bigger swamp has to be on the other islands

It's all luck of the draw, some players have found swamps one yard across consisting entirely of a dungeon entrance.

I have explored another island today, but only Black Forest and Meadows. Will explore the islands with my ship, maybe I see a Swamp

Seen similar in one of my swamps, there were two stuck down there though.. Ended up just ignoring 'em and moving on ;) Feel like they shouldn't let those structures spawn in the swamp, or tweak the physics in them so they don't flood..

Failing that can you raise the ground under him so you could at least shoot him?

Probably for the best, you don't want an archer spawning there instead.

practically, you can't do much.

1. You can to shoot him with the bow
2. You can build a cage floor above water and keep him as a zoo exponate

Draining water isn't possible - there is no liquid flow mechanics for global water level, only for tar
