My thoughts on Mistlands (Spoilers enclosed)

This is my 2nd complete playthrough of Valheim with a few gaming friends. Having a great time again, loving the additions of the new materials, frost caves, tar pits, recipes...and we're veterans now so we progressed through the game in half the time as last time.

And now, we have our light to help us in the Mistlands.

First impressions? Geez, hard to get around, hard to see....seekers are hard. Then we found an infested mine...couple of 1 star seekers, a 2 star seekers. ROUGH times, lots of deaths.

Kinda was a little disappointed. Then, started figuring stuff out. getting to know the area we were hunting a little bit in. Figured out the sap...and found the massive skull head. Dug out the soft tissue, rested inside the head for the night, built some new armor, got the new 2H hammer (FUN!) and built a crossbow, took down a Gjall by myself....planted a puff garden, hunted rabbits to make the new meat plater.

Then, the big change....the feather cape. OMG, getting around Mistlands (and Mtn Biome for the matter) is SO much easier.

End? I respect and appreciate Mistlands for what it is. I remember when we first hit the plains and had a TPK on one deathsqeuito. Or the swamp, dying, lots, wasn't a fan, or the first wolf from the Mtns, crunch.

I still can't beat a soldier 1v1, but hey, that's ok. Loving Mistlands now, and respecting it. Going to take down the queen tonight (at least that's the plan)

Fishing still sucks though :)
