Raid question
I'm curious about raids - specifically, what are the monsters attracted to? Me, the spawn point, or any collection of player built items/structures?
Based on what I've read so far it seems like they aren't focused on the player so much as the base itself (that is, while they spawn nearby, they aren't going for you, they're going for the base).
But - if they're attracted to a specific set of items - I had read campfire, workbench, and bed...
Does that mean you could build a small trash base with just the basics, including your spawn point and a cook fire, then keep your main crafting base separate (close but not too close), and they would raid your trash base but stay away from the important one where all the real work is going on? If the crafting base has no campfire or bed, will they stay away?
Curious is anyone has tested this or some variation.

If you dislike raids just do the bosses on a other seed/map.
This way you get only Meadows animal raids

Who said anything about disliking them? I'm just wondering if anyone has experimented a bit with how they work before I play around with them myself.
I understand your point though, and I do love how easy it is to switch between seeds to move stuff around and explore.
