I thought the swamp homes sometimes had a bit of a dock? Ill see if I can get a pic if I run across one. It could just be a 'walkway' near water, sometimes its hard to guess what they were thinking, most of the prefab buildings are weirdly designed.

Also I do apologize for the derail, at least a little.

More seriously, anything unique is fun to find.
a few ideas..
- abandoned farmland with seed crops appropriate to the zone (eg, like the 'tame' berries in home areas, a plot with a few carrots)
- things you can interact with. maybe a monument or alter for thor/loki/something
- maybe a ghost ship, out on the seas that you have to chase down and board, fight off skeletons and loot the hold..
as I said, anything unique is cool though. It gives you that reason to explore a bit more and breaks up the monotony of zones you have surpassed. More is better.

Also like the idea of more interactable alters/statues etc. :D

IMHO the POI and End of Game should be walking into the Doors of an enormous mead hall with the names of every player who defeats the Ultimate final boss... ..maybe even with character icon and Shield maidens and Warriors galore (Thinking Ridley Scott style Cinematic from Gladiator et al!) but i guess thats why i love this game .My imagination fills in the missing pixels..
