Nope, still broken, but there's a temporary fix in the discord until the proper authors can get a proper fix published. (main author with publish permissions has dissappeared)

Well I've followed your instructions and there is no valheim plus cfg under bepinex config. I also have steam. How did you get valheim plus in thunderstore mod manager because It's not giving me the option to download it there.
Do I need to add valheim plus to valheim files bypassing thunderstore mid manager?
I've used Valheim plus before but not thunderstore

i already had them in my other world of Valheim so they are there just a min i check config for .cfg info

heres a rough quick guide
select valheim as default in Thunderstore
then select game version ie steam or Xbo
i have steam so we may now differ
if you have installed a mod then on left you can go down to "edit config"
now my VERY limited experience says Bepindex( my slang for Bepinex)
needs to run Valheim plus.. so edit the Bepindex config , will have
BepInEx/config/valheim_plus.cfg and off you go
