Fell off the edge of the world

So after I finished building my keep, I decided that the last thing I wanna do with my character is see the edge of the world. Didn't know that it's a trap for dummies like me, and I ofcourse fell off the edge of the world with my ship and all my maxed out black metal weapons, draugr fang and padded armor. All my stuff is now basically beyond the borders of the map and completely seemingly unreachable.

I'm not really gonna use the character anymore, but it would be nice if he still had all his stuff so I don't have to look at him naked whenever I go through the character select screen. Is there a way to retrieve my gear without using debug mode?

I need to make this a PSA. If you lose your stuff forever, just load the character's .old file. You should be just like you were before you died. If you even think there is a risk, back up the .old file right away. If you want to be extra safe, back up the whole folder in a zip or something until you are fixed. The old world file may be needed too but usually is not.

hm... it is sad and funny at the same time.

I mean, you basically challenged forced it to happern. It is not the earth, this game's world is flat, it is in early access and the game has a few issues.

This is by no means an issue it's working as intended.

Don't know why you won't use dev commands if it bothers you. Other option is delete the character.

This is by no means an issue it's working as intended.

Yes, falling off the edge of the world is working as intended. There is plenty of warning you are near the edge.

There really wasn't, I saw the edge probably 5 seconds before I fell off while I was sailing at full speed. It's ok though because if I ever decide to do this again I'll obviously go about it differently. I think it's pretty funny that there even is such a thing as the edge of the world, I like it.

There really is...
First you have the mini map at the top right, it shows nothing past a certain point.
The waves change considerably, and it is very noticeable.
The textures of the water changes, highly visible.

It was foggy, and I run the game with high gamma so I can't really see a lot of the details you're talking about.

Hahahahhahahahah! That F ing sucks! I'm glad it was someone else and not me. I would have been highly PISSED off.
