The one we are currently playing on is FLOrida .

This will spawn you on an island with a smaller island next to it. The main spawn area (where you hang the heads of the bosses) is on the first island.

There are 2 larger islands a little sail away as well as the main starting continent with the first 3 bosses.

Best Island i found by Checking now over 50 seeds

* Plains next to it, but not so near you would have regulary Plain mobs attacking you
* Island is 3/4 Meadows and 1/4 Dark forest
* Enough Ressources of all types nearby

You can go to http://valheim-map.world/ and generate random seeds until you find one that you like. I got a couple of repeats, so the random generation on this guy's website is not the best.

The seeds are limited to 10 characters, so it was a lot easier to just generate strings in a password manager and paste them in.

thats my island build right now. the circle dots are the 8 corners of my castle.

Every map seems to be made up of 50 or so large islands and many, many smaller ones. Remember that you can turn a smallish one into a bigger one with raise terrain as well.
