By the time you have himiafl trolls are easy to kill by anything tbh

Or another easy kill for trolls is to simply just shoot them with arrows/fire period. No need to even cheese/hide.

-Equip atgeir
-Wait for attack
-Move slightly backwards so it doesn't hit
-Poke once, it has enough range to hit trolls who just stand in attack range waiting for their attack cooldown.
-Repeat

Done.

Find a place in the terrain were you can jump on/over it and the troll must walk around that obstacle.
Then ezpz keep shooting arrows and keep moving from 1side to the other.
The troll keeps walking around while you keep shooting.

...i use a shield and atr moment i block then smack that trolly...rins and repeat^^

I’ve also found that if you place campfires down and enter the dungeon, the troll will stand on them and die by the time you leave

Just beware the log.
