Just seen they are also mountable!! do you know if your're able to attack from it?

Wondering about a Rohan style base in the plains for Lox riders, but if its only faster movement with no attack (like Skyrim) it'd be a lot of effort for a flawed concept :(

I bought the saddle from the Trader but there's nothing or a command to put the saddle on. I thought it might be a 1-8 slot and then select the Lox and press the button but there is nothing. So I guess that isn't live yet?

oO saddle could be crafted, why do you need to buy it. Mounting loxes is live, but you need to tame lox first

Haven't tried it myself, but seen in some videos that it's working. May be you need to tame a new lox (afterpatch one) to be able to do it.

That's actually pretty likely, Unity has an unpleasant habit of keeping legacy versions of game objects live in saved games.

i stood on top of my lox, had the saddle in a numbered slot, and put it on that way. i tried shooting my bow from the lox but you cant, if you try to attack you just instantly stand up. its kind of cool, but not functional as the lox doesnt fight enemies and is kind of slow. mainly just for looks i think

has anyone had their pre-patch lox make babies? Wondering if I either have too small an enclosure, or have to get post patch ones.

You just put the saddle in your hotbar and hit it on the tamed lox and you can ride it you can take it off the lox too crafted at workbench

Loxes do fight, but you don't control it, they do it themselfs.

Is it me or do the lox seem dumber now after patch. When I hunt them they sometimes just stand still and let me shoot arrows at them until dead. Maybe a bug. I've done it on different plains on different islands. It doesn't happen all the time but I would say about 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 times it just stands there if I'm not right on top of them. About 2 times in 4 they come after me, sometimes they just try to run away. I spam the arrow, not full draw, so I can shoot more often with the stam nerf.

I had two tamed pre patch. They wandered their fenced and ditched area just fine. Now, they seem to just stand there in places. They also seem to get stuck behind things, or even on each other. One somehow got itself down in my trench. I had to dig a ramp to get it out.
