"shut it hugin's" is one of my must-have mods. He never shows up at all. It's bliss.

I agree with OP. I have started new world and characters so often that hugin does indeed get annoying. Please allow us to disable it in the future. For crying out loud I know what the hammer does. I know I am not ready for the black forest and what else would I do with berries beside eat them. etc...

EDIT: Oops, I just realised you wanted a permanent fix. Sadly there isn't an option for this. Yet. I hope there is in future.

To disable Hugin...

1. Make sure you've got "-console" in the launch options for the game in Steam
2. Bring up console (F5)
3. Type "devcommands", hit Enter
4. Type "tutorialtoggle", hit Enter.
5. Esc to exit console

** Don't type the "", obvs.

Hugin may show up again, but talk to him once and it will turn it off for the rest of the tutorial.

I have never bothered to shut Hugin down but he does get pretty annoying. Especially when his "hints" devolve into his telling you that you just did something you just did. To which I always reply, "I know. I was there."

Valheim + does that and the dishes too. Ok maybe not the dishes, but it does a lot of the things that people ask for.

There might be something in settings, but I can't confirm as I never bothered looking.

no, that's to show or hide the key hints on the bottom left corner it's a "Mouse 1, Mouse 2 or Mouse 3"

and did you read him? because if yes, he will never show you again on that new thing you found, he only show when you find something new

nope, I've played this game for many times so I don't need to read them again and again every time I started a new playthrough
