World reduced in size since updates.
Possible spoiler.
Like many, a few months ago I tried to build a deck to the end of the world, but I didn't really tried that hard because I didn't want to rely on glitch, making the world building messy so I didn't even manage to "see" the actual end of the world from my deck.
I just launched the game after few months break, went to the end of the world just to take a look and notice my deck is now on the very edge of the world :

Altough they didn't do any major updates, didn't they change something in the way the world is generated ?

There is a glitch with how the ocean spawns since like two patches ago. If there is an open gap with no islands, it looks like the ocean hasn't spawned in at the horizon. The edge of the world is especially bad, the ocean just becomes invisible at a certain point and drops off prematurely but is actually still there. It screws with my head and I wish they'd fix it

Where is Ashlands? And its red?
Did you use the world map generator?
it looks like the end of the world.
I was thinking ocean and king tides.
It would be amazing if the ocean rises with new land biomes being created.
I found it up North. Mistlands.

There was a change in how the ocean was rendered a few patches back that made the ocean look odd. Ill post some screens to show you what I mean.

Basically what you are seeing in the top picture is rocks on the seafloor.
So get some height and see if that changes how it looks.
I keep my render distance maxed out.

Where is Ashlands? And its red?Ashlands tends to be further south and has what seems like 24hr light. Far North is north ha ha, and sun is very low during the day... funny to have a patch of Black Forest in the north and jump between biomes, the sun moves up and down in the sky!
