It would be a good sausage farm, I've left villages to farm before. its good meat.

i took em out and renovated the village, no sausage farms but i have a nice village now if you can figure out how to build the houses again from the wreckage

That's what I did. I cleared most of it out but left one spawner so I could have an endless source of sausage materials without having to hunt for them.

Unless you want to use it as an endless factory for entrails (much as I use Greydwarf nests as a factory for resin), I don't really understand the question, as this does not get any mention.

Yes. It's a sausage factory. I've also used them to try to get the elite trophy.

One thing you could do, since the spawners have a limit on how many draugr they can have within range before spawning more is to dig up to three trap holes per spawner and push/drag mobs into those holes so they remain to saturate the spawners limit while being completely unable to attack(barring archers). From what I've seen, elites count as 1.5 or 2 units of the three that a spawner can have nearby so that can reduce how many you may see at any given time.

This method will allow you to leave multiple spawners alive allowing you to build and terraform the area until you can select the spawner you want to farm, and/or use the remaining spawners as backups in case you accidentally destroy the one you've chosen to farm.

You can use a DV for draugr guts, but don't forget skilling up on your weapons of choice.

There are no right answers. You will always have the swamps to fall back on and villages are not the only place where draugr spawners can be found. And you may naturally collect all the entrails that you need to get to the next tier just by doing your iron runs.

I personally think it is not that necessary. Maybe put down a portal in a place with easy access to multiple spawners. They will get easier to handle as your gear gets better.

Feel free to keep all the spawners alive and dig a moat around the village. Draugr spawners have some value and it's okay to harvest the undead for food.
