I agree, the game is super worth $20 (and more) I just didn't want to FOMO purchase right now while money is tight - But would have if the game was going to 3x in price say in 2 weeks.

That blog was either total BS or written by a very hopeful and deluded fan.

There are only 5 out of 9 areas, called Biomes, currently in the game, so a bit over half of the world completed, and since it hit steam in Feb of last year, no new biomes have been added... Not only is this game NOT going to be finished "early 2022" I would be shocked if it was ready for release by 2023.

These developers have said all along that they are going to work on it slow and steady, trying to do things RIGHT, not fast and broken.

Whatever blog you read was waaaaaay off the mark if they said it was going to "full launch" in early 2022.

As for price... nobody here knows the answer to that question.

Valheim is the best early access title I have ever seen released.
If the devs had just said eh 5 biomes are good enough we will call the 5th biomes boss the final one it would still feel like a complete game. The game is ridiculously cheap all things considered for what you get out of it.
And they are still slowly but surely adding to it!
