What I noticed with planting and the new key mapping for controller, is that I cannot use the block key[controller Ltrigger] to keep myself facing forward and plant any longer. I used to square up my player avatar with a lined reference and then hold down my Ltrigger and straf while using the Rtrigger to plant to keep myself moving in straight line. Worked great.

The most recent planting experience was different, while holding my Ltrigger to keep my player avatar moving in a straight line, I could no longer plant with Rtrigger??? Anytime I let up on the Ltrigger, planting occured. I started to think I could no longer plant crops??

And I used the same Ltrigger action to pickup items with keeping my Rtrigger held, that doesn't seem to be working either. I use the Ltrigger action to keep my avatar facing forward to juke and move and release when I want to turn and attack, etc...

I am going to try and load my backup and see if it fixes it

Try uninstalling the game, manually delete the game installation folder, then reinstall it. Also, opt out of the Beta by going to Valheim's properties.
