i mean i can always spawn it with commands, its just feels like another not thought out idea in this update, and that damn thing took 8 months.

Well it was more like 4 months, but yes, the direction the balance develops is for me a joke too. But lets be honest, the balance was never fun to play. Luckily its easy changeable with mods.

You get like +100 tar per pit, so I don't really see how it is a "grind". Few tar pits should be enough even for large builds.

I agree with you the game is not a grind, some people want everything now and they will use cheats / developer commands or mods to make that happen, it really does get quite annoying listening to their constant whining.

Yep same about people that cant stop telling moding people how bad they are as players.

The difference is that one group talks about the game, the other group judge about the player.

Perhaps it's time to stop posting topics on the discussion forum and instead start trying to find ways how to extract the tar safely

they nerfed food? I can't tell any difference after re-arranging what I eat, except honey is no longer mega healing, so now I have like a billion excess honey that I need to do something with.

Exactly. People just haven't started eating a 'balanced diet'. No more eating honey, a blueberry and a sausage and not having some disadvantage. Spend time, farm, stock up, make meads and potions, and bring what you need.

can say the same about those of you that insist that everything be either OP for the player or nerfed for the player. they didn't nerf the food at all, in fact they BALANCED them so you now have to eat food appropriate to the given task ... you can have HP heavy combos, Stamina heavy combos and well balanced combos.

the only issue any of you have with this seems to be that you actually have to put thought and effort into how you manage your HP/Stamina.

my favorite part of all this is that this is an EA title, most of the systems/mechanics currently are, for the majority, merely placeholders until they start to balance/implement their true natures. theres really no reason to get this upset over one system they've started to implement how they planned from the start.

i strongly suggest players don't get too attached to how systems/mechanics function currently (especially considering this is literally the first content update we've gotten) since they are more than likely to change to some degree down the road.
