Hey there!

First time here, and I need some help. I’ve been playing the game on & off since this summer, and am now about to defeat the Elder(yes, I am that slow at progressing)

A problem has appeared though. I have two locations of the elder boss marked out in my world. Neither of them actually leads to an altar. Whenever I arrive there is just normal Black Forest terrain. I created the world pre-Heart&Home, marked the locations pre-Hearth&Home but explored and found the marked locations post-Hearth&Home(and found no altar obviously).

Is it possible that Hearth & Home generated new terraria in unexplored areas? And therefore have overwritten where the altars are meant to be?

And lastly, is there any way to recover it or how do I find a new location? I have found new Vegvisirs that all say ”Location already marked”, thus finding a new one seems quite challenging.
