Having problems finding Yagluth location

My friend and I are playing coop and having an idiotically hard time finding the final boss location.

We have visited 10-11 plains biomes so far, some absolutely huge areas and some smaller ones, taking out over 20 villages, searching 10+ stone monument structures and about 15 stone towers and we have not yet found a single red stone that gives us the boss location.

Are we missing something? guides online say they are around structures, but surely we should have found one after searching as many as we have. Anyone got any tips?

Figure out your map seed then put it in here - https://valheim-map.world/

I too had a similar problem during the early life of Valheim and it turned out my world seed was bugged and didn't actually have the 5th boss spawn.

Thanks for that link. Jesus no wonder we couldn't find it. In our entire world there are only 5 boss stones in plains areas

To find Yag spawns I almost never find the vegister thingy for the ID... more often than not I just see the fingers coming out of the ground from a boat when mapping coastlines.

Not a big fan of using a map exposure tool. Personally I enjoy the exploring around and finding stuff like the trader, or the Yag spawn in this case, is really satisfying to me.

Tell that to people with frustrating seed generation quirks like every one of their trader spawns being on the edge of the map. To each their own.

Some of the vegvisir are way too uncommon at the moment IMO.

I never looked for the marker for Yag, I just roamed along the plains till I saw those curved stones because the curved tall stones are actually fingers with nails on the top of them. Under the curved tall rocks is where Yag spawn is.

DO NOT make a base near it.

You are looking for this in the plains. Boats going by the coast make it fast searching.

I also won't use a map exposure tool for fear it will screw up Mistlands when it is revamped.

Normally I would agree, but 50+ hours of searching. doing nothing BUT searching is not fun. We have everything and the only thing left to do in the game is fight this boss. Spending that amount of time with nothing to show for it is in my opinion a failure of the games design. It should not be 50+ hours hard to find

Its that hard because our seed has a grand total of 5 location stones, and obviously the boss location (which I havent looked up on the map site) is not at any of the plains biomes we have visited so far

yagluth is usually mid way from center of world seed. add me if u want an extra mate to help

I used the map exposure tool and the plains boss is not at 2 of the locations the map is showing. Ive traveled there and neither the boss spawn or the vegisters were there.
