Terrible attempts at "photo realistic graphics" that only ever sit in the uncanny valley for all eternity will never, ever look as good as a cohesive artistic visual style. Valheim looks more pleasing and visually stunning than Ass Bleed Odyssey could ever dream of.

This game has graphics. I think you're confusing graphics with art style here. What you're not keen on is the art style, which I'm afraid in your case isn't going to be changing (good)

I know people love to piss about the graphic but the game has some VERY VERY outstanding situations, storms, blizzard, rain, sunrise, light in particuluar isnt as technical as assassins creed but the atmosphere is stellar.

It's the style.

Install and enable the Mods in Vortex.
~ 1,5 Gb textur, download rate is limited with a free Account but 15 min and its done.
Loading screen in Valheim needs a little bit more time with 1,5 Gb textus but its worth it.

Simple answer: Never, cos that's not the style they're aiming for. There might be a mod somewhere out there (dunno, I'm not using mods) but as for the official graphics - this is it.

Because their goal was a simple yet beautiful style of graphics. A lot of content for 800 MB at the time of release. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Honestly this game has better aesthetics than most AAA games. Good lighting does wonders.
