Future Update Ideas....
So I've been thinking a lot of some ideas for updates, and some are rather difficult to make happen if I'm being honest. However I think they'd be sweet to have in the game and they'd make it better in many ways.
My first idea is to add a whole water update, complete with new boats, such as a fishing boat where you could mount a fishing pole to it and use a second for quicker fishing, water filtration, and running rivers, creeks, ponds, lakes, and waterfalls.
My second idea would be to eventually add a mountain biome in which said waterfalls could be used on. Possible enemies for the biome could be ogres, rocklings (which would be like a small goblin-like creature made of rock).
My third idea would be to add (once again) NPCs' which could be simple and would just act like wolves or boars, just running around fighting until "tamed" and then commanded to follow and used say, for protection in base. One could implement armor stand physics to them in where one could add armor to them, to protect or upgrade them.
My fourth and final idea would be to create different map types. this would be in terms of island format where a player could select a "continent" (or even two) which is pretty self explanatory; a single or double continent maybe with a few outside islands, or an all one or two type of biome map, or many tiny islands, or no water and all (or most) land with the exception of lakes and rivers.
What does everyone think? Do y'all think these are good ideas or nah.. just curious.

A small fishing boat sounds infinitely better than the raft. Karve already exists of course, but it's not the same thing as a rowboat...
Waterfalls would be great, but these are probably somewhat difficult to add as an afterthought. They likely couldn't be found in mountains which have already been explored, only on new worlds or seeds.
Hireling NPCs have been denied previously, check the pinned thread in suggestions section.
