Protip: Don't think of mods as a roadmap for the game.
The devs never promised to poll your favorite mods and develop the game to your exact preferences in mind. They have a game they want to develop and we purchased it knowing (or we should have known) that it was going to go through changes; but those changes were never going to be %100 in line with your vision.
This is the beauty of mods. Each player can tailor the game to their experience, independent of the devs' vision. It's literally eating your cake and having it too- everyone can be happy. That's the beauty of this platform.
With that in mind: stop propping up mod creators like they're doing all the work. Try uninstalling Valheim and playing with your mods- you won't get far. Think you can do it better? Do it! Nothing is stopping you from creating a mod that changes the game to your liking!

I don't think instilling self-importance and self-entitlement is beautiful, and that's what I'm seeing out of the modding people this week. It's happening to Deep Rock Galactic too, tons of strife in that forum because they tried to make modders happy and apparently failed miserably while potentially endangering the long-term viability of their multiplayer community.

The mod-furious types around here always came across that way to me. Idk why but Valheim just doesn't feel like a game to mod in my opinion, its not an elderscrolls game. Plus you know.. the whole fact that mods arnt supported at all makes it a questionable effort.
I think most people are desperate to rekindle nostalgia from other games and to try and crowbar Valheim into something its not.

DOn't know what you're on about, liking to mopd Valheim does not mean you want to turn it into something it isn'nt or that you want to turn it into Skyrim.
I personally enjoy having options and mods are just that does not mean I want them implemented in the core game. I think both Valheim devs and players should ambrace the fact that the modding community has picked up interest in that game. Skyrim is still played 10 years later because mods as well as countless other games that would have been long forgotten if there were not modded and improved by the modding community.
