would you be able to use a backup copy of the world to fix that issue, just go back to the last save. i have done this with the ingame manager.

Help me understand this:
1.) where is all this hate coming from?
2.) Actions have consequences. You literally dug yourself into a hole.

One of the benefits of having multiple worlds. In that case you'd exit out, go to different world, repair/replace your pickax and then return to original world.

resetspawn - Resets the spawn location
respawn - Kills the character

You can use these from the regular chat window, no devcommands needed.

You could go to another map drop your stuff off. If I don’t recall Puke berries hurt you so you could carry over enough to “induce a respawn”

This is much more straightforward than my idea.

i had this happen up in the mountains in one of the empty wells as i was setting up a base in it. didn't know there was a hollow floor beneath me! of course i'd left all my wood in a chest up top. i got very very lucky in that i was able to mine out the wall just enough to see my way clear before my pick broke.

I sometimes switch maps. I built a nice base on some seed but I farm copper somewhere else for example. Not sure if there is a right way to play this game ^^

Pretty realistic, I would say.

you can jump out of a pit.have full stam hold run and corner wall jump :). now things that would make getting out a pit hard is having no food .be hard to get out with no stam
