Remember that roadmap from year 1 that contained 4 major updates?

Are we getting any of that any time soon?

As stated by others, your statement is not accurate. We are indeed owed the final game that was paid for.

Now I am not here to complain about progress, I get it takes time and in fact I am kinda ok with a bit of increased scope. However, I am not ok with just bowing to the powers that be and getting hosed. While I do believe the devs are hard at work on content, I do not want another "Star Citizen" where the owner now sees indefinite development as a business model. Therefore, us as consumers must hold them all accountable. That being said, we can be nice about it as a side note.

If you actually know anything about Early Access you would know that EA games are At YOUR OWN RISK no matter what country you are in. Does not matter how entitled you think you are. Fact of the matter is many people have many EA games that failed so they are useless now. Devs do not owe you anything LEGALLY. Morally you may have a case but well that will not get you far.

So to recap if they walk off tomorrow with no more updates there is NOTHING you can do about that. I could list you more than a dozen titles that have failed. "Just Survive" "Hellion" "Dead Lingor" just to name 3. Also happen to own all 3 none completed.
"Fear The Night" "Dark N Light" Few more I happen to own incomplete.

This is not technically correct. It is still a legally binding transaction, where as the way you framed your statement that would allow all kinds of scams to be legal. There are countries GB as one example, where people can and have been able to get refunds from game devs for poor development practices etc.

In this case, I see they are working on the game and I see problem personally. My comment was made in the general sense. As well, I do not think we as consumers should just blindly lay down, rather we need to hold groups accountable.

You are "owed" nothing.

What you bought was an early access (incomplete) game that was playable in it's current state at the time of release. You did not buy the assurance that the game would be completed. You bought in to assist in the development in the game. It is NOT a pre-purchase of the finished game.

This is in the Steam TOS for EA games.

The only rule they are probably letting themselves down with is about being transparent with their communications - but even then they are still releasing previews of what they are working on. They're just not giving dates.

No, it never was. Things ON the roadmap were stated to be tentative "if Odin wills it," but those were the EXTRA bits, not the 4 major updates that were in the roadmap. I have no idea where you got that idea.

I do not support the constant whining on this forum - these daily "cOnTeNtS aMaRiTe??" messages - *but* disabled people wouldn't have gotten this pony if it wasn't for the money coming from the bunch of whiners.

If there is a tag "early acess" - developers MUST follow roadmaps, fill not-yet-complete product with content and do it before +-announced deadlines or at least - tell us whats goin on or why they doubled their time. Otherwise it called Lying, Misleading, DayZ, Deceptive etc. For an example of how should it flow, check Going Medieval or Satisfactory (their publisher's game).

I bought the game's one part of the game + promise from devs that i WILL GET missing parts for around year-two.
This is not whining - This is this righteous anger

What do we get for about 1,75 year of life of this game? Cave instances in mountains? Few equips? An ability to mount 1 mob? Some studios with much much smaller budgets made complete games. Keep it in mind.

I realy don't understand WHY literaly everyone blames every slow-developed early access games, and only a few percent of this game auditory now CALLS devs to GET! BACK! TO! WORK! :stress:

Correct, however you're only owed the content they said would be in the game. I do believe the roadmap was even stated to be a tentative thing and not all things would make it in. That being said, most people have 10s of or even hundreds of hours in this game regardless of how bare bone it is and though I can't speak for them. Personally that's money well spent.

All that being said though... I do hope they keep to what was stated in the road map and continue to flesh out this game to a proper full release as I was burned greatly by snail games' Dark and Light and don't want this to be a repeat.
