Periodic blizzards to replace regular precipitation in the mountains I would consider a worthy tradeoff for having to constantly sip frost potions. Pretty sure my insides are glowing blue from all the frost potions I have consumed. Its annoying upkeep, belongs in more survival focused games, not this one.

Part of what I love about the game is surviving the harsh conditions when they are present. Sometimes that just means you leave and come back to avoid danger. Some inconvenience is part of what makes survival interesting. You can choose to stay and risk it if you like, or save yourself the trouble and come back later. Just don't complain if you stay and it bites you.

A tent is a really good idea. You could make it cost like 3 deer hide and 10 wood or something like that. Beautiful idea @Mharr

Yeah, weather is tricky. You want the extremes in there for the atmosphere, story generator potential and screenshots but completely shutting the player down so they just have to wait for the thing to stop happening is the worst.

Many people have suggested tents as a way to camp through the night without building an actual structure and setting a spawn point, skipping weather based stunlock would be another good use for these.

I love blizzards, and the white outs in the Mountains, toss in some fog too please. Make it harder!!!!
