I have found bone remains, lox stuff, fuling brute trophies and all sorts of things at the bottom of tar pits.

If you want to build incredible and large-scale projects and bases, it's difficult and boring for one person - you do nothing but mine raw materials. Here it is better to use console, mode devcommands and spawn command.
If you are not a megalomaniac, a simple bases are enough for you and you want to enjoy the passage through the new context of the game, I do not see a problem in the solo game. I have near 700 hours solo.

Here's my short answer. lol
Same 5 bosses for now.
New Abomination creature in the Swamps(New Armour from roots).
Tar Pits in the Plains for upgraded building pieces and Lox taming(Make a saddle for Lox to ride).
New Caves in the Mountains with new creatures which leads to new weapons and more materials for building.
Mistlands update upcoming in the future.

I had no idea the Growths were undead aligned. That's strange and troubling.

Just did a full playthrough post mountains patch with 2 friends.

The Meadows/Black Forest are pretty much the same with only the changes to how food works being obvious (for the better). Also trolls respawn now.

Swamp has the addition of a troll-like mob that allows you to make a new gearset. Decent addition that adds some challenge and potential grinding in the swamp area. Previously the only thing I really did outside of dungeons was farming surtlings for cores.

The Mountains update added a new dungeon/gearset for them. This set is a light armor alternative with a fairly cool fist weapon. Three or so new mobs as well. The mountains feel complete now.

The plains added a tar (slime) mob that is brutal to both the player and anything that isn't undead. Besides that its mostly the same.

Really enjoyed a new playthrough with friends. Theres new building items that add more options for endgame construction projects. Overall I'd say its worth coming back to if you want to enjoy the game again, but if you are expecting something new you should wait until mistlands.

If you haven't beaten all the bosses yet or tried out most of the weapons, you probably should keep playing Valheim. The new content is not much so i'd recommend focusing on building premium houses/roads or something. Get it out of your system, because odds are you'll be waiting for a long time for a release.
