Anyone else have the wrong character appearing at selection screen?
I posted this on the bug forum, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, how was it resolved.
My dad plays Valheim with me, but until recently we both had separate computers. He got a new computer and I took over his old one. The problem is, when I log into Valheim on his old computer/my new computer, on my own steam account, I do not see my character at the selection screen. I see his, and if I click on "start" I have the option to join my world or his.
How do I get my character to show up? Thanks!

Is it possible that you aren't clicking the left/right arrows to select a different character?

You need to create your own windows log in account.
It may be too late at this point and you may have messed up your steam cloud save with his data. If you can get a copy of your old save data on your old machine you may be able to restore it if it got messed with.
Do not log into steam on your old machine... copy the save files first so they don't get messed with as well. <just in case>
