There is a sub-forum to the right of the general forum, called "Looking for group", which is literally thousands of players looking to team up.

You aren't likely to ever find a server that's just open to randoms.... not that kind of game.

People can't simply kill another player. There is no PVP per se. BOTH parties have to agree and turn on their friendly fire, like if they want to duel or something. One player can't sneak up and just start killing people. By default, players are immune to damage from other players.
