That sucks. I disabled screen shake moons ago, couldn't see a damn thing. Makes trolls more interesting/stealthy 👍.

it happened to me today... could be a bug related to an abomination spawning on the swamp coast as i sailed by. The shaking ceased after i got far enough (at least i guess that's what did it).

No seriously, stop your boat and it should clip up to the deck where you can pick it up. It's been happening since fish got that jumping mechanic, one tried to jump while you were above it and it got stuck in your boat.

The boat will continue to shake and shudder until the fish either gets loose, or you pick it up.

This. I realized that yesterday when I FINALLY spun the camera around a found a pike on the deck.
