Ashlands sneak peek—work in progress terrain! (Twitter)

There will be lava! Hope we get some flat areas though, don't want super steep Mistlands terrain everywhere.

I am dying to see volcano's spewing lava and hurling rocks of doom at people!

Can't wait to be crushed by one and have to jump around and dodge falling molten boulders to get my corpse!

No sarcasm, i live to die... in video games. LOL

i dont think the lava will use WATER mechanics. that just wouldnt fit it. lava moves slowly outside of eruptions. useing the TAR pit mechanics for it would fit it ALOT better. i hope the devs notice this. or they make something completly new to begin with for it.

Yeah i agree, i just hope it flows and to have active volcano's i would cry with happiness. Tis my dream.

When the tar came out I believe they did mention that they developed the liquid mechanics for use later in the game. They were probably thinking of ashlands lava all along.

I'm sure we'll get another unhelpful item like the wisplight. Or maybe a helpful item when we're done with the biome, like the feather cape.

then they better give the characters a ui overhaul with stance switching or at least something to unload the bloat items if theyre going to keep hashing out the same bloat garbage items/resources piling up in our inventories for each new biome

that stuff is really reaching the tipping point of poor game development as it is, i shouldnt have to mod the ♥♥♥♥ out of my game to make excessive inconveniences become utilized in a way that doesnt make me want to just quit the game just because of pointlessly inconvenient stuff has to be

Maybe, but logically if you blast magma or molten lava with ice, its going to explode. I don't think that might be a thing.

Looks like we're going to need that feather cape if the floor is lava.
