Try using version from thunderstore, it might be working

Small update: managed to load old character that used Equipment and Quick Slots, Epic Loot and a couple other of mods, but not the world where I was playing.

Another small update: Old world is launched, just give it more time to load (probably to load update Mistlands or whatever). So using 6 months old BepInEx (5.4.1901) is totally fine. I hope...

The Thunderstore version works fine for me. The only mods I use are MassFarming and TerrainReset, so I just used the Thunderstore app to install BepIn, BepIn configuration manager, and those two mods. Had issues placing objects when trying to use the mods through Vortex/Nexus for some reason.
