And that is because I play a lot of hardcore.

I have only done solo with no mods or console commands, although I haven`t played with people I might try at some point.

No mods, haven't tried co-op yet, 700+ hours and i've never even killed Moder. I am, however, going to do this now since apparently it unlocked another table type. Honestly, i just like hording things. Hell, not too long ago i made my very first real base. I used make huts with wall tiers of chests.

I also have 4 chests-worth of silver that i just mined and ferried back to home base. In the midst of smelting it now.

I think I might lose interest doing that, to be honest. I played my first 50 hours solo and began feeling like I was playing Viking Stardew Valley with occasional draugr. A few aspects, like mining stone and building, felt tedious to me without a group or console commands. I hate building. I want my creations to spring fully formed from my head a la Athena, I have no patience to craft them myself. Kudos to you on your patience and perseverance!

Yeah nothing wrong with co-op it's just not for me.

I take it slow too. But once I get last boss boredom sets in.

I build for utility not beauty .. my shacks just expand with the more space I need for stations, bigger bed and more and more storage!
I have started working on museums (or just hallways) to display all the trophies. Takes a lot of fine wood though.

My first play through was. But I found mods that enhanced the experience for me so use them now.

Yeah, I mostly make shacks, too. Shacks crammed with furniture for the rest bonus - my Viking lives in a hovel. Far from having a hoard, he is a hoarder.

at 100 hours it was enough to complete all content in the game and build up a sizable supply of goods. Not sure what else I could do in the game besides weird build projects.

Nope. Not the only one. 900+ hours here. Multiple games solo and with friends. Tried Plus mod one time and went back to vanilla quick. Mods seems lazy to me.
I'm on a "Perma Death" (it really takes will power to delete your char/world :D) game right now and close to take on Moder.

Only went up to killing Moder, both Solo and Duo, but it haven't gone for me further until I find something more interesting to do. Maybe the annoying Fulings are to blame here.

Still, I have an extremely inflated bias against mods and mod-users, as a consequence of lion's share of Discussions' troubleshooting associated with them, and a good portion of responses being "use this mod to solve your issue/gripe". For some reason I find it exceedingly annoying.

Come to think of it, I've only used mods for two other games just because certain servers required them. I prefer to experience and judge games by how the developers make them.

Mostly .had my nephew play for a while and helped me kill moder a few times for mats ,the game dont really need mods as it is

that giggle gets old but they are like anything else. Once you max out your gear, they become little more than a slightly dangerous pest. Before you max your gear, they hit a bit hard.
