Not understand your instructions
Came back to game after some time. I get this weird instruction from you "note this file is currently kept in the old file structure which could cause synct problems and data loss. It will be moved to the Claud on your next save. If you have disabled Cloud saves, it will be saved in the new non sync folder.
Well this sound like Greek or something to me.
Does it mean that if I do nothing and just play, I am not getting any new updates etc?
Does it mean I am playing "old" way and one day be told to give up or start brand new or something? Or are my 'old' play wipes out my previous plays? and I have to start brand new? and the cloud thing is strange too. I never have Cloud so if I "if you disabled cloud saves, it will be saved in the new non sync folder"
huh? is there going to be a "new non sync folder" - what is a new sync folder? Is that meaning any time suddenly there will be "a new sync folder" and anything played is then down the drain?
Or does it mean that any old char I have already in the game are in 'the old' way and any new char I make is in a new way? .....and all will eventually be 'overhauled and replaced" and must start everything new? This game has been on very long, how much longer (years, tens of years etc) will the game be the 'actual eventual" game?

your characters will be fine.. but the worlds will ONLY update with new content in areas you did not explore.. so if you have explored a lot of the current map you are on then there is a good chance you will find little to no areas that will have the things you need to progress in the game as new things are coming out.
This game likely has another 2-3 years before it is finished. They have 3 more major updates and we know those will take anywhere from 9-12 months most likely.

From how you've described it, assuming that's accurate, your very old local save files will move either to the cloud or the new location. Probably the cloud, since if you don't know what it is then you haven't disabled it. This shouldn't be a problem and you should be able to ignore the message.
If you're worried then figure out what location it's talking about and back up your old saves manually (copy the files somewhere).
