I don't like the 'neon effect' on the Draugr bow; the Huntsman uses less stamina,
is easier to aim and 'feels' faster, FineWood bow is a good bow.

I suppose I should add that the Draugr Fang is an excellent bow; the
sensible bow to use against Moder. I'm sure I'll use it again but
for regular use I like the Huntsman.

Like, I really don't wanna carry fire arrows cause they're so weak, but the mountain enemies are all weak to fire... confusing

frost arrows are great; you will use them to slow trolls and berserkers and I think
they work really well against sea serpents BUT they're more involved to make than
fire arrows and require a level 4 workbench

nothing really wants to be set on fire; it illuminates them so they're easier to see
in the dark, root monsters are weak to fire and you can make them on a level 2
workbench

I think the arrow that you will eventually want to always have are needle arrows

well I think I've read the mountain entities are immune to frost so they don't work
everywhere but they're definitely worth making

but you shouldn't abandon fire arrows

Frost arrows are useful on enemies that are wet, for the most part.
Fire Arrows are useful in general, and based on how easy they are to produce you should always have them. You can switch between Fire and Poison arrows if you assign them to the task bar, for maximum dot damage.

I'm using simple wooden arrows for the most part, until I unlock Obsydian Arrows as you never really run out of obsydian anyway.

yeah wooden arrows with upgraded huntsman bow get the job done for the most
part; or a few special arrows and finish with needle or wood arrows

Get yourself a Draugr Fang and stick with Obsidian arrows for general use, Frost arrows on backup for slowing big enemies, and switch up Obsidian with Needle arrows whenever you have a stack on hand. Please do not get the Huntsman Bow. It is somewhat redundant and a poor use of your precious iron. Unless this bow is reworked in the future, you're better off sticking with a Finewood Bow until you get your Draugr Fang, which becomes available precisely at the same moment as a Huntsman Bow.
