They only ways to do this would be to use mods, there was a mod I saw a while back that stored your character on the server, never used it myself though.

On my server I use a dedicated portal hub world (using the Valheim Multiverse mod) that connects to the rest of the servers, so there is no way to directly connect each world outside of the hub portals which stops players from transporting metal/ore by dumping it into a single player world briefly.

ya that is the main reason i don't run a server for it no more cause people can just god mode stuff in on there single player game and bring it to the dedicated .

The game is currently not designed to support anti-cheat measures. We don't know if that will ever change, as that would require a pretty big overhaul on the whole client/server system.

If I have god mode on, I cannot come onto your server and use commands. I can only use them on my server, at least its been that way for me for a long time.

I think what they are saying is prevent people from bringing the spoils over from single player or other servers.
