I haven’t tried playing with anyone else. Seems like it would be annoying having to agree to a time to play constantly. I like being able to hop on whenever I feel like it.

I've been playing for just over 100hrs solo (vanilla) and loving it.

The bronze age was a bit of a grind but after that I found things sped up in terms of iron which allows you to get kitted out in a fairly robust set of armour and weapons and opens up more building options.

I've no desire to play MP as I want it to be my world and done at my own pace. However others clearly like the MP aspect so I think it comes down to what sort of gamer you are; there is no right/wrong answer.

I know because I finished it in solo

Minus: You have to do everything yourself.
Plus: You can play at any pace you want and do whatever you want whenever you want.

Those are the two core differences for the same base experience. Other than that and the slightly higher difficulty of dealing with combat in co-op (due to difficulty multiplier based on players online), there's little difference that doesn't directly relate to your social preferences.

I have no idea how it feels when you play as team since i only go solo (always).
Can't see any probs, this game is NOT designed for MP, you can do everything you need (or want) to do. I find it a bit more challenging and much more rewarding.

Weeeeellllll.... maybe a Steam forum isn't the best place to ask how it feels when solo?

its okay take ur time play own paste or just asked if someone is willing to play.solo is pretty chill

Even though playing with friends is better and funnier, the solo gameplay is not bad either. I also play solo, since my friends rage-quitted after a few deaths. The game requires a lot of grinding, no doubt about it, but is fun and interesting even playing solo.

I wanted just a quick playthrough in preparation for the update, staring a new char after 300 hr on my first one, now i spended 20+ hours building a castle on top of the mountan.

Same BattleCry Same, I know no one else to play it with , I was gifted the game but they are too far ahead and too fast for me to casually discover the game at my pace with them lol. Lovely game in solo though !

playing with someone adds another edge but having similar levels and discovering things together with someone would be better
