my character is in what I would call now the late bronze age. Very advanced in the bronze.

I am about to now try to defeat the second boss.

Anyway, after being able to build spike core wood defenses for my entire game thus far

I am unable to build a fine wood bow?

Oh, the option for it is there.

What's the issue?

It seems no matter how thick of a tree I am cutting down. FIr, Oak, the others in the meadows.

For some reason, when I cut down trees for wood, I am getting regular wood fine but I do not seem to be able to get any more core wood at all?

So to make a better bow for the second boss, I decided to cut down two of my spike defenses for necessary core wood.

This time (even though anything else I break down) I get some of the materials back, when I broke down two of my spike defenses that I didn't think I really needed, I didn't get any materials back or core wood?

So I'm just stuck it seems. No more core wood drops means even though I can build a better bow I am unable to finish it because I don't have a necessary material?

Has anyone else had this happen to their world?

I can do everything else up to say what advance bronze age allows before second boss is down.
